How do you rent a self-storage unit?
We have prepared an easy-to-use guide on how you can rent a self-storage unit in 7 steps.
1. Choose the storage unit size you need
Note! Remember that you can change units free of charge if you need another size.
Click here to see available unit sizes.
If you click the “Read More” -button, you can find more detailed information about the unit and the storage building.
2. Start the rental process (it’s entirely online)
Once you have decided what unit size you want, click the “Rent Now” – button.
This takes you to a checkout -page.
3. Fill in your contact information
At the checkout page, you must fill in your contact information for the rental agreement and rent payment.
Note! Later, you will pay for the first month’s rent and sign the rental agreement digitally.
You will need to fill out:
- Name
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Social security number
4. Choose the date the rental agreement starts
Choose a date you want to start renting your storage unit.
You can choose a date up to 21 days in advance or choose today as the date.
This way, you don’t pay for the unit for the days you don’t need.
5. Continue to the payment method and pay the first month’s rent
The next step is to choose the payment method you want to use.
We offer credit cards, debit cards, and bank payments as payment methods.
Note! We recommend using a credit or debit card to make monthly rent payments automatic. This way, don’t forget to make the payment.
Next, click the payment method you want to use and make the payment.
6. Sign the rental agreement
About 2-5 minutes after making the first month’s rent payment, you will get an SMS and email with a link to sign the rental agreement.
Click the link and sign the agreement digitally with your online bank credentials.
Once the agreement is signed, we will prepare your access to your storage unit.
7. Get access to your storage unit and download the Noke app
You can now download the Noke app to your mobile phone.
The app is used for opening the building doors and your unit door. This way, you will have 24-hour access to your storage unit.
You can download the app here:
Next, you will get an SMS with an access code to enter into the app.
NOTE! You will get the access code SMS when your rental agreement starts. If the agreement starts today, you will get an SMS shortly.
Once you enter the access code to the app, you can open the door to the storage building and your unit.
